It mounts similarly to the factory handguards, you will need a factory style front handguard retainer. You can add your KVAR style stainless heat shields for added protection, and you can use your factory cleaning rod. Weighs 5.9 ounces with all hardware included. IS NOT COMPATIBLE with other types or makes of rifles at this time. Does NOT fit PSA rifles due to their unique cast front handguard retainer. • Anodized Finish, Black • Weight: 12 oz • Dimensions: 11 × 3.5 × 3.5 in • Fits AKM Type Rifles with 1.0MM Stamped Receivers and Standard Handguards/Handguard Retainers
